Just Announced

Wow is this what Art Attack has been reduced to? Very sad. I was never interested in any of the acts they got in my four years there but at least they had something musically relevant to offer.

They landed one of the biggest names in pop rock right now. I don't know what else you were looking for from UMD…

Great news. Fujiya & Miyagi are opening on the Peter Bjorn & John tour.
Au Revoir Simone is also opening.
They're just so generic. I'd think they'd appeal much less to a college crowd than countless other bands who are better and probably cheaper.

the All American Rejects arent cool, but have you heard the new disc from An Opener Not Yet Announced??? goood shit!
Yes but this is the same UMD who, in the fall, brought us…Dashboard Confessional.

Somehow I think the All American Rejects were exactly what they were looking for this year.

Just saw this on Ticketmaster, may have been mentioned earlier:

DC101 Chili Cookoff - Saturday, May 12

Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Buckcherry, Silversun Pickups, Jet are bands announced so far.

On sale 3/30 $20 for limited time, will go up to $30

May go to see SSPU and Jet. Not familiar with the other named bands.

SSPU is at the top of my "need to see" list, but I'd literally rather be anywhere else in the world than at the DC101 Chili Cookoff with Buckcherry, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and Jet … maybe if JIMMIE"S CHICKEN SHACK makes an appearance, but definitely not otherwise
You can see SSPU's the next night at The Recher. Only problem is that it is Mother's Day.
Can I live with the guilt?
