They?re also playing in Richmond on 2/21 at The Broadberry, and it?s the tail end of the tour so it doesn?t look VISA issues can affect them here.

Fillmore capacity is about 1200 and otto is 600

Ottobar is the best.. I would never request a DC show if a band was playing there… NEVER… that kind of thing is out and when I say its out its O U T OUT.

The Broadberry really does have an awkward layout. But damnit, they've been getting some solid bookings this year. Bands that I never thought would play in Richmond. Killing Joke is one of them.

Holy smokes! This is amazing news. I am so there. Yeah maybe visa crap will happen again but I will cross that bridge when I get to it. Until then I'm stoked! They still put on a fun live show with all original members (last time I saw them in 2013 anyway).

Also, Voivod and Vektor is a solid bill as well!

Was pretty cool, they opened with Penthouse in order, went off for a couple minutes then played a few more songs…..  including a "surprise encore", which was when they went off the 2nd time, it seemed like the end, exit house music and lights came on and people started filing out, then band came back onstage to do "California (all the way), everyone had to rush back in…. Weirdest thing was getting "23 Minutes in Brussels" early rather than at the end when it's usually played…..

10/24 - Mercury Girls and Sherman Whips added to the Expert Alterations record release show (along with the already announced Escape-Ism and Amor Fatigue)

I'd be up for going to that 10/24 show if they don't find a venue for the DC one. The venue they were going to do it in was pretty much sent a cease and desist letter.
