Be wary of shows at Cole unless you're in the under 21 crowd. Saw Muse and Razorlight, was stoked thinking the venue would be pretty liberal but it was a nightmare. Made folks sit up in bleachers, while the floor was essentially empty (was told needed to be on the floor 30 minutes after the door opened or no dice). No alcohol either, not a complete deal breaker but with a bunch of kids yapping all night a stiff drink would have done wonder for my morale. Just FYI.

Yeah, but that show also ruled because the backstage was on an indoor field… post-show security was so lax that we got to chill and watch Matthew Bellamy kick the crap out a soccer ball.

how many people can say they watched Matthew Bellamy play soccer?

probably anyone in England! ;)
Earl Harvin will be playing drums for Air on this tour again…his style on "La Femme D'Argent" is absolutely stunning. This is going to be a GREAT show.

I saw him play with Richard Thompson. He was phenomenal.
Seems as though that 4/26 show will fall somewhere in the dc/baltimore area. I guess "dragon island, narnia" is their cute little way of saying "tba"

nope, that's wishful thinking. no dc/baltimore in late april, but possible dc event in late spring/early summer, if things can be arranged. the bolt will NEVER play the 9:30 or black cat…it's gonna happen at a school or warehouse or somewhere completely unpredictable.
The Bird and the Bee are opening for Lily Allen

Fields opening for Blonde Redhead
Awesome. This is actually what I wanted to read given that I'll be on a plane to CA the night of the 26th. Now I won't have to go out to WV to see them. :)

He's the one that played with them on the last tour correct, as he really made that show great. I also saw him with The The when they played at Fletchers many moons ago, I like his style of quiet to explosive jazz drumming. Not unlike what Steve White does with Paul Weller. Any word is Jason Falkner or Roger Manning might be along for this tour?

Heh, yeah. Never made that connection.
Kosmo…Manning has been producing a lot of stuff with them lately, so it's definitely a possibility
