There's a lot of crap here and I couldn't be paid to go to another camping festival no matter who is playing but I have to admit they made some solid pulls for a hippie jamband fest:

The initial artist lineup line-up for Camp Bisco 9 held in Mariaville was released today. The three-day festival organized by the Disco Biscuits on July
15-17 will include:

LCD Soundsystem, Ween, Thievery Corporation, Girl Talk, Ghostland Observatory, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Major Lazer, The New Deal, Diplo, Rusko, Aeroplane,
Gui Boratto, Sunrise Silent Disco, Brothers Past, Album Leaf, Dieselboy, Gift of Gab, Future Rock, SOJA, Telepath, Felix Cartel, Two Fresh, Kill the Noise,
Tipper, Eskmo, Orchard Lounge, Rubblebucket Orchestra, Emancipator, Spiritual Rez, Sub Swara, Derek Plaslaiko, Kraddy, Ana Sia, Dubskin, Big Gigantic,

I thought the sound was slightly off for their set when they opened for Tortoise although Tortoise sounded great.

Too bad this conflicts with Melvins/Isis.


Surely they'll sound better on the backstage.

Trying??? as opposed to hasbeens like Phish Iron Maiden absolutely smoked at Merriweather 18 months ago!

Agreed. I was in the pit, and it was one of the best performances I've been to. Dickinson's pipes are legendary.
