If I went to that, it would break my record for most time elapsed between seeing a band two consecutive time. I think I saw them last in 1985.

But alas, I'll be driving the Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park on that day.
I think we're going to see Almost Queen at the Herndon Festival tonight for my wife's birthday, but just wanted to let all of you alt-rock lovers know that Jimmie's Chicken Shack is doing a reunion show tonight same place, different stage.
Singing like Freddie is a tough way to make a living…. #1 in my book (when you include what a great performer he was)….report back!

If the rain holds off, we'll be there too.
Ticketfly is back…. kinda… sorta….

My 10 year old though it was "amazing." My live musically hard to please wife said it would be a "memorable" birthday, and my music snob ass was completely entertained (Caveat: I think this may be the first tribute band I've seen in my life, so don't have anything to compare to.)

I agree about Freddie. One of the best, if not the best. This guy does pretty well at looking the part, and though he can't hit all the notes that Freddie did, does a pretty credible job of singing and preenng. Same for the other three guys.

One of the biggest  concert regrets in my life was not seeing Queen for $8 or so when they came to my crappy  hometown in 1980. It was a few years before my parents let me go to my first concert.

Anybody have a Rolling Stones cover band recommendation? There's another favorite band who I'll never see with a magnetic lead singer which would lend to a good tribute.

On a tangential note: Has anybody ever seen the white Sikh family? We've seen them at a couple of shows now. The dad and two sons who wear there long hair in turbans and have scraggly beards with the wife/mom who wears her braid in a bandana? What's their deal?

It let me get to the point of buying a White Ford Bronco ticket (for example), so they are obviously selling tickets. But the most recent news I read from the last few days said they were down.

So apparently a hacker pointed out a security flaw to the company and tried extorting a bitcoin from Ticketfly. They didn't engage with this guy so he hacked the site.

What concerns me about TF going down is that the company charges $4 for a printed ticket, which I believe is absurd. In this case, if there was a major hack for the B&S show next Saturday, I'll have my printed ticket and will be good to go, unlike the electronic ticketed people.

TF needs to stop charging $4 per printed ticket.
They, are an American company . . . they are supposed to rip, you off with stupid fees.
