$15 Mainstage / Doors at 9:00

tix on sale now @ ticketlaternative

first they announce the sunday night gig (and i buy tickets) and then they announce a friday night gig? shitty.

would love it if they make the friday night show a "hearts of oak" show and keep the sunday show as a "tyranny" show.  Then, i would go to both.
Here's a blast from the past

Happy Happy Joy Joy.

Makes me happy that I skipped the Verizon show. Much rather make the trek to Columbia.

Gotta say the show on Friday exceeded my expectations. I still don't think they should be playing venues that large, but it was pretty darn good.

Can't believe they'll be back at MPP in less than three months though, seems a bit of an overkill.

I feel like Kings Of Leon did a similar jump a couple years ago…

I guess you gotta strike while the iron is hot as I could see them being back at the club within five years.

I can't believe they got so popular.  I remember avoiding them at small stages at festivals for years.  Do they get radio play these days or something?

I think they do, I know their songs are all over TV commercials. I was surprised they sold out 2 nights at 930 honestly. I've loved them forever, never seen them live though. Pretty incredbile to see them rise over the past 4/5 years without really changing their sound. If they keep releasing albums at the rate they are and keepadding more to their sounds, I think they could stay in the upp echelon of bands. They're better than….probably any other rock being played on the radio.

Agreed. I was unsure going in, but I thought they were totally ready to play to arena crowds. Granted I was in the pit, but still.

Even the older songs like Thickfreakness sounded really epic in the huge space.
guess I'm going to have to cancel the family European vacation to make this show
