DCist (my source this time) doesn't seem too pumped either; seems like most people are still pretty bitter about that Rock the Bells fiasco last year: http://dcist.com/2011/12/lauryn_hill_to_play_warner_theatre.php

Some seriously lazy writing at dcist.

Second paragraph: [T]he length of time since her lone solo album of original material?yes, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was released all the way back in 1998?stretches into Chinese Democracy territory.

Fourth paragraph: Rumors of a new album by the 36-year-old singer are practically this decade's version of the Guns 'n Roses waiting game.

I bet Kraftwerk will close out the live stage, while Tiesto closes out the main DJ stage. The live stage is where all the most interesting acts were last year.

It's amazing (and depressing) to me how many acts Ultra has repeat year after year.
lets get some of those Ultra acts to drop by DC: New Order and Kraftwerk double bill at Merriweather!
^^ haha I asked for both of them in the "Hey Seth" thread. Either New Order or Kraftwerk (or both) at the club would be great.

Even more disgusting is how big Skrillex is now. Billed over New Order?? And Aviici billed over Fatboy Slim?

Oh well.

Aviici is insanely popular with my little sister's crowd.  I doubt they even know who fatboy slim is.

I know who he is. He's the douchebag Mankie paid $40 to see spin records.

i love this whole "i don't like them" and they better not be higher billed than bands "i like" that people have going on here.  i'm glad the world revolves around you now.
Amen, bro.

You don't want to announce Kraftwerk as your festival headliner. Simply because they're like 60 or 70 or something, and there's always the chance that they'll die before the festival takes place.
