that would be weird, since you had to specify which should you were entering the lottery for, and you could only get tix for one show. i know of at least two people who got shut out.

I'm pretty sure it was one order per person, but you could order all 3 shows in that one order.
Yeah, you could order tickets to all three shows (which probably everyone who entered did) if you wanted.

no tickets for me or the four friends who tried. with all the tickets on sale on ebay and stubhub, and no hotels available within a twenty mile radius . . . i am disgusted with the whole thing. i will try on sat, but with no breathe to hold, i don't care at this point. i saw them at hampton during the final run tour, and they were weak. weak trey, weak song selections, weak crowd . . . but phish fans have mostly been weak losers who only think of themselves. i have a funny feeling it was the fans who lead to the breakup in the first place.

but i am going to see trey solo in richmond, so at least i have that.

I was shut out too but really I can't imagine being anywhere near Hampton that weekend would be too pleasant anyway. I wonder how many people are going to show up without tickets.
The fans broke them up? I thought it was because they didnt want to be old men playing the same old songs, which is happening anyway. I would bet money that they do a full tour after these three dates, including a Bonnaroo headline spot.

And if you like getting sprayed:
Gallagher
Feb 5
Sonar
i'll probably go to 12/26 and 12/27.

they are doing a full tour after hampton. i would say headlining bonnaboob both nights. and yes, of all the bands i have ever encountered, phish fans were the worst! punk kids who only cared about one thing: drugs. it was as if the music was second fiddle. the band was aware.
I'm only just going by what I've heard but didn't the Dead fanbase get really gross toward the end, too?

The opener for the Mates of State shows at Black Cat and the Ottobar is Brother Reade.
Since I have a Phish username, I feel obliged to chime in.

In some ways it is a shame that the band chose VA to make its comeback. These shows are way overhyped. The Coventry debacle left a bad taste in my mouth - I'm surprised that so many people are so eager to see the band again.

I also think the hype will die down over the next 5 months. Spring tour will be announced and a lot of people will think twice about making the trip. This band has failed to deliver quite often in the last 10 years, I'm willing to take a "wait and see" approach. Big, overhyped comeback shows = big expectations.
