I bet I'm the only local who posts on this board who has never seen a show at the Fillmore, the Anthem, the Lube, or the Verizon Center.

I haven't, except for Anthem.

Youre forgetting that if The Anthem didn’t exist, the band probably would’ve skipped one of the top 7 media markets in the country altogether.

It’s the least we can do to thank The Anthem is pay $55 for a band with two hits.
The weird thing is as bands get more popular and play bigger venues ticket prices go up….

I am excited….been predicting this announcement for a while…their first and last albums are two favorites of mine as is the Last Shadow Puppets first…I could see this selling out and a 2nd show added…this show is on Saturday night though so preferable

They've sold five million albums in the UK and more than two million here in the US.  Hardly "a band with two hits."

Name more than two songs of theirs you’ve ever heard in public or on the radio. I’ll wait.

I like the band, for the record, although their live shows are extremely “meh.”
Fuck I thought the criteria for booking shows was wether they sold tickets….thank you Julian for showing me the error of my ways…you need “hits” and get played on radio

That is so 1990s Julian
