Overall, I just find their effort insulting. They're like the band that never practices, so they just play the same songs they've played for the last 10 years over and over. Used to be a HUGE Lips fan, but now, it's not worth my time or money. And Wayne's underestimation of his fanbase's intelligence is pretty insulting.

I think, to be brief, they cover up a fair amount of laziness with an aura of "but look how many props we have!!!"

I'd rather have the chance of hearing spontaneous setlist deviations, thanks.

Indeed they have. I could care less about Thrice, but am a BN fan. Sucks as i will not be driving to Richmond to see them. But Baltimore i'd do. Anyone know where these dates are from? Neither pollstar nor the bands site has them listed.

The dates are from the National website and the Norvas  ;D

For those interested i believe there are now a very limited amount of $20 tickets to see the Pretenders/Cat Power show at the Warner…
