I had exchanged emails with their tour manager a couple of weeks ago. She gave me the date, though said it was unconfirmed. I mentioned it on here at the time…been watching the website daily for updates…checked earlier today, she must have just updated within the hour.

i think it is acceptable in email/im conversation, but i just sounds stupid when people use in actual face to face conversation…totally annoys me

We happened upon one of those shows last year…went to the game, and a Bacon Brothers show broke out AFTER the game. I think all of them were after the games last year but not sure.

Do I need to mention we didn't stick around and watch the Bacon Brothers?

if rhett, and by extension pollstar, is correct, then all you need to do is go down to the o's store at farragut and pick up a ticket or two. bleachers are $15, but should the game sell out, standing room is available for $5 the day of the game. i should note that i doubt the game will sell out, even with cheap trick.

Thing is, I'll probably get about 20 tickets. It's a friend's birthday, and he LOVES Cheap Trick. I'm a little worried the show will not happen - my skepticism at work. Especially with Pollstar. But the head's up is awesome – thanks Rhett and Bede…

well, make a day of it!!! get to the stadium around noon, tail-gate beforehand. . .drink it up beforehand as well. . .you'll have 4 1/2 hours before the game, which is plenty of time to prep. sit out in the sun and enjoy a game in the park, then stay and rawk out!!

hmmm, it sounds like a good idea to me!

oh, contact the o's about group ticket pricing. . .you might end up in the upper deck for the game, but you might get a discount on ticket prices.
