i dont know if this was mentioned before, but gwen stefani is playing hte patriot center?
i can see no doubt, maybe, but wtf? gwen stefani? do people like that shit? this has to be the absolute worst pile of crap i've seen in years. gwen stefani needs to do herself and all of us a favor and stop making music. it's embarassing. she needs to get over herself.

The same could be said about No Doubt. Funny that you like them but hate her music. It's basically the same crap.

i dont think distance was endorsing them. Just saying that, yes, No Doubt is popular enough to play the Patriot Center, but he (nor i) had any clue that Gwen all by herself generated that much popularity.
and No Doubt, though i have never liked them, are OODLES of times better than that damn song Stefani sings about money or candy or whatever it is….

actually i can't stand no doubt. i was saying i could see no doubt playing the patriot center maybe.. as in it's a venue probably fitting the size of the crowd they'd draw. i'm not sure exactly how popular they are, but i know at one point in their existance they could do a decent job of filling the place. i don't know how much their popularity has dropped off in recent years, but i assume they'd be too big for the 930 club.

So, what you're saying is that you are a humongous No Doubt fan and probably have at least one tattoo proclaiming it?

tim hortons = great.
i love timbits.
it's unfortunate that there really aren't any anywhere near here (and i'm farther south than dc). the closest ones i've come across are like upstate NY (buffalo) and also columbus ohio.
1995 was when they were starting to get big. in 95 they played an in-store performance at a record store here and it was a pretty big deal. it was around that time that 'just a girl' was out, so..

No Doubt played the Baltimore Arena a few years back, with Garbage and the Distillers opening. The place was packed, possibly sold out. My exgirlfriend was a massive No Doubt fan, the things you do to get brownie points….sigh.

Probably "If I Were A Rich Man" from "Fiddler on the Roof", except she's a "Girl" (what, not a woman?). Yeah, pretty damn irritating, and used in a Pepsi commercial she starred in. See, it's about the
music! Lotsa people, including many baby and faux-hip critics, like to gives her props for being "innovative" for using a marching band on "Hollaback Girl." I've got one word in response:
Tusk.

She earned her MRS that night!
Missed the Distillers because the Halo's were playing game 5 of the World Series and we were watching the game with Adrian. Good times, that week of October 2002.
