Just Announced

Nice.  My all time favorite movie.

Foos make sense at the 9:30, can't see any other band on that list

Also didn't know this
The House of Representatives successfully passed the “Save Our Stages Act” just last Friday, agreeing to set aside a potentially industry-saving $10 billion dollars for the independent venue community.

of course because Trump is a dick…earlier this week Donald Trump announced he would not engage in further coronavirus relief legislation until after the election
Don’t the Foos live in LA? They are not going to fly all the way to DC for this…

good news, possibly: mark meadows stated that a big, omnibus bill is (was?) off the table, but said that trump was open to one-off, highly targeted bills… i would imagine that Save Our Stages would be just such a bill.  so who knows, things change by the minute with our manic-in-chief.
yeah this  highly targeted bills shit is the problem
now the airlines are screwed, the unemployed are screwed, the stages are screwed, the businesses are screwed
and doesn't matter, the GOP/Trump are going to put together shitty options and make it like "the dems don't want to come to the table'
They should have passed something in July, this gov't is insane
My understanding is they have put $1.8 trillion on table so almost Pelosi demand for $2 trillion

Seems to be more about positioning so Trump takes credit

Employer liability on covid could be sticking point

But who knows? You get whiplash with Trump

No, man, that’s my schtick. You just show up if we are still alive.
I will take this as a win for "Guess the 1st band at 9:30" if they do play 9:30.  Please send congratulations my way.  I will (probably) be a gracious winner.

Be glad to be proven wrong although I never said it couldn’t happen just seems very unlikely.

Do we know who is playing where? Will this be livestream or recorded?

Should I camp out at the 930?!?

Yes
But I thought you weren’t the outdoor type
Yeah but if there’s a chance I can get to see foo fighters at the club…..
Pretty sure I saw somewhere that the Foos were playing at the Troubador in LA for that gig

Strange there's nothing from here, given the list of venues and the I.M.P. connection with the organization.  So there's gotta be a good reason.      The Pollstar article does say 9:30 is an "Additionally Featured" venue so maybe there'll be some sort of shoutout.
