Nah, there's never a shortage in vegas ;) Hopefully he's just taking a few days off due to exhaustion after constant sellout shows night after night. After all, where better than Vegas for a temporary reprieve from a very succesful tour.

According to the UB40 website, they will be at the 9:30 Club on April 15th. Their shows rank in my all time 5

You won't even have to drive to Baltimore. He's also playing at Crossroads in Bladensburg, MD on 2/12.

Argh! The Duke Spirit has been added to the Ted Leo show. I really want to see them (more than Ted Leo). But of course the Pre-sale has already sold out. Hopefully general tix will be easy to get next Friday.

Does anyone have any idea as to how I can get tickets to the Stereolab concert on 3/21? I got an email from the listserv but have no idea on how to purchase them. Any help is much appreciated!

go to tickets.com

type in "930 club" for venue search, click on it and you'll see stereolab listed with the link to buy tickets.

The new Beth Orton disc is REALLY good. That will be a fantastic show.

I LOVE Breaking Laces! How can you not love a band that titles one of it's self-release "Operation Income"? So fun and great guys. How did they end up on this bill? Also, do you have the set times? Hope I can make it, would love to see Cedars (finally) for the first time.

Her new album is produced by Jim O'Rourke of Sonic Youth/Wilco fame.

While her albums are pleasant, I though she was a bit dull live. Maybe not entirely dull, but I certainly wouldn't pay to see her again.
