Just Announced

So that VIP lounge.  Is that the only bar at the Warner or just the only one with nice cushions and attractive humans?

I'm just glad that you only have to buy 1 lounge pass for your entire party, rather than 1 pass for each person!
I just went to put this on my calendar and realized my sister-in-laws wedding is the next afternoon thousands of miles away. Fuck me.

Who wants to buy some Pavement tickets? Will eat the VIP lounge stuff which buyer can have for free. This is possibly one of the dumbest moments of my life.

I'm appalled one of your family members would get married on a Friday afternoon!!!
Sorry you can't make it.  I messaged ya…

Friday weddings are low-key great. The 1pm start time is VERY bizarre to me though.

NEWS FLASH.  I wasn't able to use Julian's tickets either.  If someone else is interested (hint, hint).  I realized that the tickets I got were actually a few rows in front of his.  Silly me.
I thought it was noon…thanks for the code Jerrinna!  FTW!

I picked up two row DD in the balcony on the side where there is that 2 seat row
Starsky…lets talk next year if you want one of them

I would expect this to be an easy pickens show, come day of… once again, my motivation for buying was to ensure I didn't end up at the top of the theatre.

I will say, this approaches about the max I've ever paid for a concert ticket which is kind of ridiculous.

If I hadn't paid for a single show since Vid - in a normal year I typically step out at least 10 or 15 times - I might have balked.  Also it's Pavement which means this could be the last time for a long while if ever.  I really hope that they go the way of Dino Jr. and reunite for real though.  Despite Malkmus's best efforts, and I like some of his solo stuff a lot, he has to realize that his audience prefers him in the context of Pavement.

Agreed… however, I do love Malkmus solo about as much.

I think this will be the last tour ever IMO. Aging folks like us aren't going to continue to pay $100+ a show for a Pavement reunion year after without new material, at least me personally.

Edit: And what a god damn load of shit, the presale that's happening now is… All platimun seats for over $300… LOL!
kinda absurd they have Obstructed View for $125

also Malk only drew about 75 people to that Union Stage show at the wharf…at least in DC, no one is really excited to see just him

Who actually make the increase over regular ticket price on the platinum tickets? Is it the promoter, the band, ticketmaster, all 3?
