Lincoln looks like it's on presale now– does anyone have a promo code?

EDIT:  Code is "MASHER"
Coheed and Cambria (playing their 3rd record in its entirety, "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness")
opener: Deer Hunter
Fillmore Silver Spring
Sat, May 6th
Brit Floyd
4-22
Warner

Anyone know how these guys compare to the Australian Pink Floyd or the Chilean Floyd?
I heard that Brit Floyd was the some or all of the members of Australian Pink Floyd. I saw them play at Red Rocks (more to experience Red Rocks than the band).  The show was surprisingly, to me anyway, sold out.  They were pretty good, good light show.  What amazed me were the people buying/wearing Brit Floyd tee shirts and concert dvds…really for a tribute band?  That being said I'm not a big tribute band enthusiast.

I think you may have stumbled onto something big. Every time a new show is announced, you post a fake presale password that deftly combines your disdain for the band and mockery of the fans. You'll probably even wind up trolling some people who aren't in on the joke, and they'll wind up trying to buy early tickets based on your "insider" information.

I really feel like this could be your calling.  Please make this happen.
/comedy ensues/
I'm not even kidding about this.

What if I like the band in question? Do I still do it?
Oh, then you definitely don't post it.  At least until you already have tickets.

OK. I mean if you're just asking me to make snarky jokes when people ask for pre-sale codes to shows I don't like, sure. Hell, I was probably going to do that anyway.
Oh, I was thinking for every show.  You know, like a public service.

This was another recent autobiography that I enjoyed. He's another one of those subdued types who never seems very excited or depressed even while his band is rocketing to stardom.

The only odd part is that when he'd tell a sad story, it always sounded so weird given his name.

Upon hearing that my mother had died, Robert spoke to me "I'm so sorry LOL"

I wonder if that is because it must almost seem like a former life at this point.. he is so far removed from those days….

This was on my list to read…. we'll try to stop by the reading…

I actually have a record signed by Lol and Robert Smith in the early 80s.. its dediccated to "Francine"….. maybe I should get him to cross out her name and write mine in…
