this has been going on for quite some time.  i specifically remember madonna doing this in 2012. i've never been a fan, but wound up getting free passes into the golden triangle.
yeah i remember this happening with tom petty around 2007 or 2008… I guess it is the new normal then…

its kind of funny.. in the early 80s they couldn't get anybody to do the halftime show….they'd pay people.. now its the opposite..


I kinda wish they just invited people instead of essentially taking offers…
