Winning the "Miss Pink Taco" contest is hardly a career. But I applaud you nonetheless.
This man is a posting genius . . . .
you are so behind ;)

Sorry, babe. Had a rough ass weekend . . .
I saw him in, of all places, a Borders in Rockville maybe five or six years ago on a Saturday afternoon. He only did four or five songs, though one of them was "What's so Funny Bout Peace Love and Understanding?" As we were leaving, we heard a fat lady mumbling repeatedly, "He didn't do Cruel to Be Kind, he didn't do Cruel to be Kind."

Has this been mentioned?

Nick Lowe
September 17
Birchmere

His last four albums have been quite tasty. Paul McCartney can only wish he was musically aging this well.
Are ya going? He rarely tours ya know.

Loudon Wainwright III is also playing the Birchmere…

Whomever asked about Brandi C:

She's hooked up with Aware Records, and the reps have been busy pushing her for like half of this year if not more. There's still a lot of grass roots kiddies (like myself) that still do the promo thing. She's Aware's flavor of the year atm along with Mayer, Mae, and a few others that escape me atm.

fuck. Of course I get into an accident + my bf gets a flat tire the same week Cure Tickets go on sale. And I AM a register jockey (manager now tho)! But at a book store. When Harry Potter goes on sale next week. Which means hours.

feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck. ._. ty for info tho.

I just picture some folks on here as 25 year olds living in group homes, racking up huge credit card bills full of concert tickets, festival tickets, plane tickets to festivals and shows, food and drink at shows, etc, while putting away no money for their future. Maybe some people get money from their parents, too.
the private sector pays pretty well these days, maybe you should check it out

That's a good question. They should be on their fourth or fifth album by now, but they haven't released anything since 2004's "Tyrannosaurus Hives." It's a good sign that they're touring at least.
Blonde Redhead
Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis
8/8

Seems like a small venue for them.

I have 1 one guest pass, unlike the free RSVP (which doesn't guarantee entry, it guarantees you'll stand in line with half of NYC) you'll actually get in with this.

I have too much shit going on this week to head up there, but the first to PM and knows they can make it for sure gets it.

I would SOOOOO go to this but a Thursday? That would be difficult.

Thank you very much for the offer, Beyonce. I'm dyslexic.
