that is the acela train. You are paying for the nicer train and speed.  When I used to have to up to New York all the time for business, I always took the most expensive train.  More leg room, faster, no riff raff.  The company was paying for it anyway and it was a lot cheaper for me than flying and then taking a cab into the city.

acela has wireless internet on it.  slow speed and they block streaming video… but it's alright for email and surfing.  so as opposed to getting on a plane, i can get work done when i trek up to NYC.

the non Acela trains have wireless too. I love the train system.
