Originally posted by Bombay Chutney:This sounds fun. Way back when GI was probably the DC band I went to see more than any other. I actually saw them play with 76% Uncertain (a much under appreciated band from their day imho)at the old 9:30. And I'm pretty sure that was the last time I saw GI.
9/23 Rock and Roll Hotel
Benefit for John Stabb
* 76% Uncertain
* Government Re-Issue (Tom Lyle, William Knapp, Brian Baker, John Stabb)
* No Image
* Alive At Last
* L.O.J.
* Pup Tent
And btw, Tom Lyle's guitar sound on Joyride is one of my favorites of all time….just a great sick tone.
I didn't feel like sorting thru all their crappy hits for ticket selling companies. Glad to know there is somebody who has no life that can do it for me. I owe you $1 for your hard work.

I don't mind a favor, but the Google sarcasm I could have done without.

ok this is old stuff. and its straight from the other thread.
testy indeed.
Is it possible to get a lamer lineup than this? I think not. I guess if they decided to add Joan Baez, it might be even lamer.

Personally, I'd love the see three Just Announced threads instead of one. Just Announced-DC, Just Announced-Baltimore, and Just Announced-Elsewhere. DC would include all Northern VA shows and Strathmore. Baltimore would include all Merriweather and Annapolis shows.
