More for the old heads, since I think it was mostly board members of yesteryear, but anyone remember their show at the ottobar?  Maybe 2001 / 2002?  I swear, when they hit the distortion my clothes were moving.  Still by far the loudest show i've ever seen.

i was there.  i think a couple other mogwai shows may have registered louder for me based on the venue size and my location compared to that one.

wait - don't the chainsmokers regularly sell out arenas?  is this an "in-person appearance" sorta thing, to lend their likenesses for promotional purposes; rather than a show?

Limited capacity controlled by RSVPing… which likely means a huge line and many people not getting in…. and yes based on other events on this "tour" they will make an appearance…  took a peek at that org's candidate endorsements and it's a bunch of serious yuck, but what would you expect from cryptobros

If you want to see the Chainsmokers in a small venue, they're also playing the Belly Up Tavern in Aspen. Capacity 600.

Tickets start at $280+$42 fees.

Is there an option for people that don't want to see the Chainsmokers in any venue, large or small, in-person or streaming?

I don’t get it sidehatch…it hasn’t been that long since they played Fillmore. I mean they already did that tour of the fillmores and the opener set for Jane’s was only 11 songs and you could have gone to Portsmouth if you are that desperate to see them…

The fact is they don’t have enough of a fanbase to tour every year or even every couple of years….so see them when you can….the Fillmore show was great and will last me a while…

I was thinking of going to the Atlantic City show…but that date was not an option

but just looked at the setlist and relish the one we got as this one was missing some of the best IMO

I'm not convinced that they couldn't do a US tour of 930 club sized venues and sell out every show
I will say they did get a lot of free press for this tour debacle, maybe that will help

i was looking at their Insta and just about every person commented they only bought tix to see L&R and could care less for JA


just saw this: Ash said that the 2023 tour would be the band's final.

Hey I hear you..I had a fantastic seat ticket at Portsmouth and couldn’t make it….real bummer mainly cause I wanted to see the four Jane’s…will never happen now

I doubt L&R are interested in doing a few 1200 capacity venues….basically they just play for the money when they need it… and yes they might sell out clubs in DC, Philly, NYC but that’s not enough to pay for all the stuff you need to tour…and make it worthwhile to them…

The delusion by L&R fanatics on the internet is strong. Many argued Jane’s should have opened for L&R.

we did get a fantastic show that I never thought would happen, so I should be happy…but I'm not
