Just Announced

YIPEE!

There are so many Rough Trade acts I would like to see….. I dont remember seeing any on the SXSW initial list, so that does not give any clues.

It would be great if it were Adam Green.

0, not sure what that has to do with anything
then I am not sure why his being from NY is important at all then, why did you bring it up?

I said - I imagine they are mostly COMING OVER for sxsw, which means another rough trade act could as well.

you said - It would be great if it were Adam Green.

it would be more of a treat if a band who is not often here came, not Adam Green

Egads! I hope not. It's Monday morning – I'm just skimming.

3-15 is the same night as Neil Young. I hate conflicting shows.
no conflict for me…….
Wed 1/21 Wayne "The Train" Hancock at the Halfmoon Barbeque in Silver Spring.

One of the best honkey tonkers on the planet. This is the guy Hank Williams III worships, but Hank gets the better venues because he has the famous name.

Hmmm….Kurosawa, do you suppose a certain group of hopefuls might open? ;)

My other guesses are either The Darkness or Franz Ferdinand.
Yeah, I thought of that… I hope they will headline their own tour but will be happy either way. Let's just say I am counting the days until my TCTC March…
Franz Ferdinand will be in NYC in February for a show at the Bowery Ballroom. Not sure if anything else is tacked onto that? Oh and The Darkness has a song in the top 100 in the US charts, so I think they will headline a tour soon? Let's just hope that British Sea Power continues with their excellent taste and picks a band we've all been dying to see!
