Yeah, the downstairs service(except the bartenders) is usually awful. Much better upstairs. Rooftop is very nice.
Just Announced
I'd like to see IMP, the BC and Sasha from Comet collude to run Steve Lambert out of town. They could do it. Then again, that is kind of illegal I guess.
But seriously, Red Palace and DC9 would be alright venues if they had somebody who cared about his/her concert patrons and the musicians he/she books running show production.
The Blowtel is not salvageable, however.
And Sic Alps Foul Swoops show has Lorelei on it now.

I dont remember seeing anything about this.

With Cold Cave.
Dominick Fernow is still in his live band, is he not?
May be worth going (for those who know who he is) just for the absurd sight of him on the Club stage.
This dude.

Hmm, maybe not, just read this:
Cold Cave have undergone some substantial restructuring. Spearheaded by Wes Eisold of American Nightmare, etc. fame; the group have brought on guitarist Cody Votolato of Blood Brothers, etc. fame; drummer London May of Samhain, bassist Hunter Burgan of AFI and David Scott Stone (LCD Soundsystem, etc.).

But only if he did all of Trapped in the Closet.

THAT is sweet. I'm a St. Etienne noob (and I only know because of the Air France remix) but do you think they'll play Springtime?
