James Taylor could show up and break into Walking Man every time someone going excessively slow passes. My opinion of James Taylor would increase dramatically if he trolled a marathon.
Don't forget that long before Sammy Hagar expressed his disdain for going 55, Sweet Baby James was admonishing gridlock:

Damn this traffic jam, how I hate to be late, it hurts my motor to go so slow.
Damn this traffic jam, time I get home my supper'll be cold, damn this traffic jam.

Well I left my job about 5 o'clock, it took fifteen minutes go three blocks,
Just in time to stand in line with a freeway looking like a parking lot.

How do two bands get to exist with the same name?  Usually its only Ceremony that gives me trouble (I like the shoegaze one) but today I found out SPECTRUM is also in this club.  I came here to post 1/31 SPECTRUM show, but after looking into it I found out it was in fact, not the right group:
R&B recording artist and vocal impersonator George Jamison, American Idol sweetheart Jenni Schick, and the NYC Latin sensation Ramon Delacruz  make up SPECTRUM?s dream-team front line.  They dazzle and interact with your audience thruout the night, always delivering an amazing performance and will dress up or down to fit your venue or event! Spectrum performs a mix of old-school and modern music—from Kool & The Gang and  Stevie Wonder to Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas and Cee Lo Green!  With an energy-driven show and a repertiore broad enough to satisfy any and all ages, Spectrum is an act your audience will long remember and demand back!

Anyways I need to run, my band Nirvana has practice after work.  Then maybe we all go catch Green Day at the WindUp Space.

This is why I need to pay closer attention to what's going musically in these parts… One of the best bands in the Australian funk scene, The Bombay Royale are playing the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage tomorrow (1/13).  They do funk, etc inspired by 60/70s Bollywood.

That Tarantino, he's quite a musician!

The magic and mayhem of vintage Bollywood collides in spectacular fashion with a dizzying blend of Tarantino esque surf, wild disco, flamboyant theatrics, swirls of kaleidoscopic colour, outrageous costumes and utterly irresistible dance moves that sweep entire crowds off their feet.
