the article in pollstar says they'll play full sets, but i'd put money on slayer first, then Manson. Bleeding Through and another band will open.

Seating there is roughly the same as 9:30, right? 8 nights is ambitious, but Tom Petty played 20 shows in a row there in the late 90s, and it was just a regular booking (instead of a reunion gig).

i believe the Black crowes played 7 sold out shows at the Hammerstein in 04, as a reunion thing.

seeing as how fanatical some pumpkins fans are, i wouldnt doubt that some people would plan on buying tickets to all 8 shows in hopes they will mix it up enough to hear almost every pumpkins song ever written!

if Radiohead played 8 nights in a row….i'd try to afford going to at least half of them.

and so much for all the "first US show in 7 years" stuff with them at the Virgin Fest.

Well they had already announced the show at Giants Stadium on July 7th to correspond with the album release.

Now I have to see if I can get out to San Francisco…

I'm surprised it's not 8 nights in Chicago.

Yeah, I think so. Capacity is 1,200 like the 930.
The only difference is the Fillmore has bigger floor, and very limited balcony seating.

And Relaxer is right! Tom Petty did 20 shows there in 1997 and 7 shows in 1999.
