I didn't see the other thread about JEW, but am surprised at the praise they are getting on the board; I found myself not wanting to like them but eventually singing along to the tunes of theirs that come on the radio.

The Walkmen will soon embark on a North American tour in support of their upcoming sophomore effort, Bows & Arrows. The new record is reported to be more similar to the band's live show and less like their debut, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone. Yep, screaming and organs. Bows & Arrows will be released February 3rd on Record Collection Records. Tour dates:

I thought I'd read quite a few raves about the Distillers on here before. I don't know them, but posted 'cuz I thought they were a board fave. In the "best albums of 2003" thread I thought they came up a lot…
