Funny how this is the top music story in the Guardian while 99.9% of Americans have never heard of him.

Their loss.

I thought most of us knew this in February when the BMI songwriting credits got reported and every track listed William Bevin as composer. Further, the same media outlets reported that a William Bevin was listed as a student at the Elliot School in 2005 (the year before the Hot Chip's Joe Goddard graduated).

I mean, nice he's letting people know, and maybe he'll tour now (doubtful), but if you were paying attention, this is OLD news.

Not trying to be a jerk, just surprised everyone is acting like this is huge news. It's been all over hipinion and Burial's wikipedia page for 6 months.

It'd be like Jandek confirming his name is Sterling Smith. Big whoop.

K.O.L. are this big now? (Hmm, this sounds eerily familiar, I think boardies tend to ask this question of any "indie" band that ends up playing DAR).

Ugh… And just like half the bands that end up at DAR, the sound will be awful, it will be empty, and their next visit to DC will be back at the 930 club.

I hate that place.
