Went down to a friend's show (www.thewhatnot.com) in Atlanta, they were opening for Angie, I ran their merch, and Angie's person never showed up. One thing led to another.

However, the gig didn't pay the bills, and I pretty much got screwed in the end. Per diems weren't paid correctly, I -always- had to drive my own car with no recompense, and right before they got a bus they canned both touring female employees (the bassist and myself).
All this (the getting canned part) and you still want to go to her show at Iota?

Can't believe those two together are big enough to play at Merriweather. Seems like a club show.
That Built To Spill/Meat Puppets show is at The National in Richmond 9/22. No Dino Jr. here either.
i told 'em . . . kick those guys out again and get down to some real dinosaur business.

Angie's a guy, and I just want to show up for the shock value, and then probably leave. Ha ha.
Well that's your first problem. Associating with a guy named "Angie". haha

Well the Gallery appears to be coming back as a venue with a wider range of EDM this time around.
Kooky Scientist/Fred Giannelli was a member of Psychic TV.

Last.fm lists Ghost as playing that 6/17 Damon and Naomi/Masaki Batoh & Helena Espval show. This has to be a misnomer, right?
