In case anyone wants to hang out in Portland for a few days, MusicFest NW tickets go on sale July 5.

Bands announced so far include The Dandy Warhols, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Helio Sequence, Britt Daniel of Spoon, The Black Keys, Silver Jews, Steven Malkmus, Viva Voce, The Melvins, The Swords, The Kingdom, Stars of Track and Field, and Crosstide.

Ah, shit! I'm going to be really pissed if Massive Attack shows up. (At the fates, not the promoters.) It's the same day as the Walls Of Sound Fest in Fredericksburg, Va., which I'm already committed to. Otherwise, I can live without a few of the other bands, even though I like some of them, and the Red Hot Chili Shits are more than worth leaving town to avoid.
Pollstar shows Gnarls Barkley playing Pimlico on 9/23.

yeah. i'm going. i caught 2 of the shows in december at the bowery (had a ticket for the 3rd that was 2 nights after the other two, but wasn't able to make it back up). this'll be eits show #15 for me.

is it a 3 day or nothing deal, or are they going to sell individual day tickets?

i have no idea if it's exclusively 3-day, but i'm pretty sure most of the tickets will be 3-day passes if it's not 100% 3-day.

i called the bowery this morning to confirm. one day passes go on sale this friday at 10 AM.
