Wait, really? I do not recall that. But inform me.

(Also you misspelled kerfuffle.)

Were fisticuffs involved? Oh wait, this is about a B&S show…

Mankie was one of the chief instigators so fisticuffs highly likely

so we have Waxahatchee headlining Wolftrap, Faye Webster headlining Anthem, and Mitski headlining MPP. This is not a criticism of their music, but I'm amazed at the size of venue each of those artists are headlining.
There are some rabid mitski fans out there

I’d say it was almost an equal draw between Lorde and her on who brought the most fans at the mpp show last year

I bet it is a big second billing on this show too, won’t just be her

Also the waxahatchee is with snail mail (headline the anthem right?) and it’s only a $29  lawn seat show…

I wouldn't know who Faye Webster was if she was sitting beside me, so I can't comment on that… Mitski, wasn't they/them the indie darling a year or two ago? I'm sure it will be empty no matter the case.

Wolftrap has 7k capacity which seems high, but I think Waxahatchee is bringing some decent support to her shows, so who knows?

Is a cafe pop band called LAMP a big second billing?

definitely not, unless they are 2024s Wet Leg

She has some dedicated fans
I would bet this sells more tickets than Roxy music

Pretty sure Snail Mail was only an opener at Anthem. She played 10 songs on the same night Turnstile played 19 and JPEGMAFIA played 16.

The last time Waxahatchee played Wolftrap was 2022, opening for Jason Isbell/Sheryl Crow. And she hasn't put out any music since then (and her show wasn't very good.) Her previous biggest headliner gig was the 9:30 or Lincoln. But somehow she leaps to Wolftrap headliner status.

LAMP is a Japanese band formed in 2000. But somehow they are this year's Wet Leg?
