their whole entire tour was scrapped, not just the black cat. havent yet read a reason, but i did see that tim was supposed to be playing with mark ronson in chicago (that didnt happen either).

And that would present me with another conflict.
Both 930 shows V. Octopus Project at BC->APTBS.

Julian, Raccoo-oo-oon are heavily rumored to be announcing their break-up right after they put out this new album. :(

minus the bear is indeed the early show. tickets.com has 5:30 doors.
given the way things run at BC, wouldn't the choice be: both 930 shows vs. minus the bear + octopus project? i don't think APTBS will be so late as to be after OP.

With a door time that early, you may be right.
I was thinking more along the lines of 6:30 early/10:30: late.
If it's APTBS V. OP, there is no conflict.

So APTBS doors are at 9:45 according to the e-blast. With two openers, they won't be going on until 12 at the earliest. OP have only one opener so they'll probably be done by 11.
If someone really wanted to get his/her music marathon on, he/she could feasibly catch minus the bear who will be done by 9 at the latest, high-tail it to the BC for OP and be back in time to catch APTBS' set in its entirety.
