My current band is taking part in a new, sorta local festival at Wollam Gardens, in Jeffersonton, VA on Saturday August 14th.
Talking to the organizer, it's coming together nicely, but he would say that, I guess.
It's called Hot Blossom Festival. DMV based bands and local food vendors, plus dogs permitted.

Know that area well.  Out there.  Great location Farm!  Not a far drive for me either.  Perhaps I will check this out.  Even though I hate festivals that let you bring dogs.

I shall say, dog passes are limited to 50 in total, so there is that. I do agree dogs, loud noises and crowds probably aren't totally complimentary to each other, but dog folks love dogs. I have two cats so who am I to judge?

Thank you for putting quotes around this
At times they now go by “the Steely Dan Band”

The reality is how much was Walter Becker contributing live anyways?

Still wish dude hadn’t croaked!

I think you want "complementary," unless you're talking about a dog that everyone is gaga for.
Last time I saw them was at MPP maybe 5 years ago.  Walter just stayed in the background leaning against something and playing.  An integral part of the band obviously, but not the touring band.
