Just Announced

I walked in midway through Benjy Ferree's set at the black cat when he opened for the Archie Bronson Outfit and the apples in stereo. What I caught of is set was entertaining but I don't think I'd go see him/his band play a headlining show unless I really liked the opener(s).

that's awesome that Hella is coming. I've been wanting to see them for awhile.
It's too bad that it'll be the 5-piece though. The new album is pretty terrible; I much prefer the tight guitar/drum instrumentals over the cluttery 5-piece containing some of the most unbarable vocals I've heard in a while. Zach Hill is still one of the most mindblowing drummers around and it's worth going just to see him though.
