New 1,600 seat venue in Tysons? Has anybody heard anything about it before?

Is this place going to book the same acts as that Brooklyn Made place, except it will be located in the much more convenient (for me) Fairfax suburbs?

Weren't they a 9:30 level band at one point, or am I overestimating the peak of their popularity?

I haven't seen them since Iota in probably 2006 or so… and then I saw the one heroin addicted brother play solo at the Hamilton once.

They were a good, dirty version of the Avett Brothers.

I think they played the club in the 90s, but they could barely pack iota's

apparently they headlined the club in 08 according to setlist.fm?

I guess it's been a while since their heyday. I saw them for free at Millenium Stage. I thought they were ok, my wife thought they were annoying.

We also saw the Avett Brothers around the same time, as an opener for BR549 in the Birchmere bandstand. I would argue that at the point, neither band was very polished and both qualified as "dirty." The Avett's were far more annoying imo.

They were basically Conor Oberst's backing band when he played the 9:30 in…2018?
actually got them confused with the Pernice Brothers

The 90's seem a bit too early, they didn't put out any recordings until 2006.

They didn't exist in the 90's.

Yeah, I liked the Avett Bros then too… I think they found their nitch in the early 2010's that bros liked to sing along very loud to their choruses and hot chicks dug their love tunes. Can't blame them. I also can't stand the gun in their band that wears a choker and pony tail.

88% chance I will attend this show.

I enjoy both the brothers Felice and the Brothers Avett, and I once saw them together at Wolf Trap.
