Although I saw Lloyd Cole at a smoke-free sit down venue in Denver a couple of weeks ago and he was quite good. But he's Scottish, right?

Lloyd Cole established himself as one of the most articulate and acute songwriters of the postpunk era. Born January 31, 1961 in Buxton, England, Cole formed the Commotions in 1982 while studying philosophy at the University of Glasgow.

I meant to check their site as well. Within Rams Head's email announcements they ask for votes for who you would want to play at the venue. One nominee was Ambulance LTD. Generally, those voted on, eventually play there.
