Tickets are 100% non-transferable and non-refundable. On sale October 21 at 6:00pm at the Black Cat. The Black Cat is located at 1811 14th Street, NW Washington, DC.
Why couldn't these go on sale tomorrow when I'm going to be in town!?
My guess is there is already a line down the block.
Black Cat's FB page confirms if you're not currently in line, don't even try.
my assistant is currently in line.

I personally don't get the appeal of Foo Fighters (not hating, they just never did it for me)…
But I found it interesting they are playing such a small venue, for such a small amount, with such short notice.
Good luck on getting tickets fans!
I don't get how big they HAVE gotten, back when they first came out I got it. I think it's super cool that they are playing the Black Cat. I'm sure it's Dave being something like "It's a cool local place and it'll be cool for the fans".
Seeing them at the Black Cat > seeing them at the Verizon Center. I wouldn't call myself a fan, but for 20 bucks, I'm sure it'll be an awesome night.

I just saw them at The National which is obviously about double the size but is still quite small. Not a huge fan, but anyone who sees them live and doesn't have a good time is just actively trying not to have fun.

Whooptie damn doo. I'd rather see Cold War Kids at 9:30 anyway. Too bad I'll be out of town.

This is why we have a commentary thread… I posted that like two pages back… Listings get lost in the shuffle amongst all of the chatter…

Good old ticketfly-by-night screwed me again. I got back from my meeting, checked for Sleater-Kinney tickets, saw 2/24 was sold out but 2/25 was added, tried to get a ticket, but it said "none available". I refreshed the screen a couple of times, same result. Then, I got a different message saying that all tickets were in other carts, try again. Which means that when it was first saying "none available", t-fly was probably lying.
I hate t-fly more than ever. For shows for which you can't buy tickets at the club, I wish the 9:30 would find someone better. In this case, I wish they had sold the tickets at the club ONLY, like they did for the Foo Fighters last May.
Screw ticketfly-by-night.

Looking again, on both the 9:30 site and the Sleater-Kinney site, the "buy tickets" icon is still active, but if you click either, t-fly claims that no tickets are available. I think that t-fly is full of crap, as usual.

No offense, but the night two tickets were available for over an hour after the onsale date. If you can't get tickets within an hour, you're doing something wrong.
