That was a great show but not at the 930 technically as you know…the place was a falling apart dump owned by Howard… Madder Rose opened and I really dug them at the time… Courtney trotted out her daughter at the show… I remember thinkin' that was nuts…

apparently she has two new songs coming out on itunes…

not me..

they did LOVE a few years back..actually i remember the show as i was there on 9-9-9 at the 930 club and I remember wishing they were touring Electric which is by far my favorite album of theirs…. I'm hoping they will do this at 930 and not FSS…although the ticket price might scare me..

no. I want to hear electric.. they can still tack on a bunch of songs but I want all of electric.  and the point is every song  on electric flat out kicks ass.

as for sonic temple that album is a turd.. bob rock is such a craptastic producer …

I had the luck to catch them on the Electric tour @ the felt forum in NYC (connected to MSG, which is the venue they quote as the reason they changed the name Southern Death Cult)
The guitar work on Electric is great and Billy rocks it with his bitching Gretsch
I'd see that at the 930 in a second
I really haven't been able to listen to any thing they've made in the last two decades.

Album tours are kinda odd…it can work, but always seems sacrilegious
