So I googled "cis" and it said "someone whose gender identity matches their anatomical gender at birth."

Is that a bad thing now?
I would think one could make a case that the percentage of cis-individuals in major Hollywood roles is pretty close to the percentage of cis individuals in America overall. I would argue Laverne Cox, RuPaul, et al are actual a representative percentage of transexuality in America.

No but RuPaul taking that slot would've been a nice change of pace.

Guns and Roses opened for Aerosmith at MPP in 1988.  I remember at the time the Aerosmith fans only got excited for the post-reunion songs.  I don't know why that is worth mentioning.  Just strange that Slash is back opening for them again but I guess this time not as big a deal.

I guess when you are playing beer pong or flip-cup would be the only time you wouldn't want to drink Bud from the can.

That venue name always makes me laugh.

For anyone who wasn't around then, there used to be a house venue at 611 Florida AVE booked by former boardie Snailhook. He booked a lot of stuff similar to what Cafe 611 is bringing in now but there is no connection.

Gee, what do you all these artists have in common? Why would anyone support such an obviously non-diverse, non-representative event?
I think you're forgetting that DC is the CHOCOLATE city.

Whoa, what are you talking about. I don't see things in terms of race. I'm appalled by how disproportionately male the lineup is. Women were emancipated too.

FWIW BET is owned and presided over by a (black) woman.

was Ian MacKaye too busy giving an interview about what he did 40 years ago?

So this is to emancipate the country from the control those in DC have over us and return their powers to only what was granted in the constitution right?  I see no other emancipation issue involving DC what-so-ever.
sigh

And what Hutch said.
