I kind of agree yet for some weird reason I am kind of fond of them…..

I saw them at the beginning at the Showbox in Seattle and at the end at the Patriot Center opening for Soundgarden. It’s not my bag but I find something compelling in them… They put on a great show.

I also saw them at that Soundgarden show and I literally wanted to gouge my eyes out. Not for me. I get they’re technically very talented but what a waste to make that music with it.

As an aside, looking at FSS bookings makes me feel ancient and out of touch, I've heard of maybe 5% of their acts, am I missing out?

I don't think so, this guy (who I'd never heard of) just played the cap jazz fest two weeks ago at MPP, but did a quick check and no dc dates
so not sure where yada was going with this

possibly, but that is  the purpose of this thread…but we have people like you who like to be cryptic and not leave enough info
I went directly to the artist website and also perused news stories and there was nothing
was surprised there was anything in that he was just at MPP two weeks ago
