5:30 p.m. SPECIAL EVENT 24 Hour Access: 24 Hour Psycho
A first for the Hirshhorn—the museum will open the "Douglas Gordon" exhibition for twenty-four consecutive hours. 24 Hour Psycho (1993), the artist's video installation that stretches the Hitchcock classic into a twenty-four-hour experience, is the inspiration for this all-night happening. Launch the leap year with this unique, drop-in event, which will also include music, gallery discussions, and a "Meet the artist" interview with Douglas Gordon.

Signal 66 has organized 24 hours of live bands and djs for this event. The Phobes will perform at 11pm. The Groove djs will start spinning around 10pm. For complete schedule of the other fantastic bands and djs, visit the Signal 66 website.

How are these guys live? What little I've heard is interesting, but I also think I might get bored of them after about 1/2 hour. Anyone seen them before?

Washington Social Club and The Shakedowns are supposed to be playing on 3/5, according to www.washingtonsocialclub.com. I hope that's still the case.
Skeeter, it probably is the case. The list above isn't comprehensive – it's just the shows promoted by Planaria…

"Keep in mind that these are just the shows that our pal Nick from Planaria has put together. We have other shows and events here! So check out the up to date weekly ads in the Washington City Paper. So look out!!!!"
Thanks!

same night as Delgados…

also i don't know if it's "The Alarm" (Mike Peter and new bestest buddies), as it's not on the official tour schedule. But via pollstar, a band billing themselves as the Alarm are playing the Hard Rock Cafe ciruit 3/23 DC 3/25 Baltimore, might be worth going along to snare some Alarm merchandise, avoid the food, etc. shame they aren't playing the mojo
mike peters was meant to be coming here with dead men walking, but due to the hit single and the publicity generated he has put all dead men walking stuff off till the end of the year so he can concentrate on the alarm, bastard, ive been wanting to see the deadmen for yonks.
Speaking of bands reuniting, what about the Dead Milkmen!?!

Bitchin' Camaro, bitchin' camaro!
Only one Dead Milkman is still in the music business, Joe. The rest sell office copiers.
