Wait a minute. What happened to The Morning After Girls? Damn it! And I was so looking forward to seeing them!!! As much as I love BRMC, The Morning After Girls were the sole reason that I was planning to attend.

According to their website, they are opening for BRMC, but not on all the tour dates, i.e. not in DC.
March 28th

Eisley w/ Simon Dawes

I'm not a big Eisley fan, and this is a weeknight. But please, please, PLEASE for the love of god and all that is holy; go see Simon Dawes.

Wow, that's a bummer. I'm surprised because they sounded so tight, polished and well-produced. And that live show would've been a hoot. Wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Kaiser Chiefs and reform under a new name (with a few members neglected to be invited).

Meanwhile, 45 Grave! Holy cow, it was more than 20 years ago that I saw them play in LA. I thought Dinah Cancer was the sexiest thing – kind of a prettier Exene. I don't know how good of a show this would be though. You can be pretty certain that X still has a good show in them, but 45 Grave were never all that… great. They'd make a great opener for Sisters of Mercy or something, because once you've heard Partytime, the rest is only okay.
I know that two of the backup vocalists for DMBT had already quit the band, numerous side projects sprung up towards the end of the year, including the Junkyard Choir with one of the lead vocalists. Lots of limited edition vinyl released recently to, but a bit to rich for my tastes.
Very last minute but…

Don't know if I'll make it for Scientists, but definitely for Perry.
Boy am I glad I decided not to go to these shows:

Due to illness, Social D is postponing this weekend's shows at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, NV (Fri 1/13, Sat 1/14 and Sun 1/15). All three will be rescheduled and the new dates will be posted shortly. Your original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled shows - if you're unable to attend the new dates a refund will be available at the original point of purchase. We apologize for the inconvenience, but appreciate your understanding and support.
What exactly is the "illness" that has caused SD to cancel or postpone so many shows in the last year?

Does it start with an "H" ?
