The staph is overly thrilled about putting up with this.

Thrilled.

some of the staph infections there are ASSHOLES.  nothing better than big muscle duncecaps who think they are better than the patrons!

I've never had any problems with the people at the National.  Some of them were pretty cool and I've been to a lot of shows there.  Maybe it's different for a Widespread show.  I'll let you know when I bring in my canister of laughing gas  ;D

You Am I?? Holy mid-90s power pop flashback. Bring back Velvet Crush and Mayflies USA to top this bill off!
Didn't You Am I play with Smoking Popes at BC a year or two ago?
Both on Yep Roc Records, where all power pop bands go to die.

How the hell is this not at the club or at least the cat?

Are the Raincoats not as big as I am thinking?

big? depends on what you mean by "big"?

never more than a very fringe cult band..of course they should have been BIG.

big in influence if only because of cobain (and courtney)/kim gordon

glad they are coming to dc..i'll be there assuming no catastrophe.

does one buy tickets online for comet? never been there (added: for a show that is)..

actually have their first album but the original issue does not have the excellent single that was tacked on to the cd..

This show has tickets available online:
