100% agree to disagree.
If to only judge them on L2I…maybe…but even then, Idunno… I think their influence can not be understated
come on man, your favorite Michigan artist Kid Rock  doesn't exist with out the BB's

I never stated it was 'literary event of the year'  but it was very entertaining and I thought gave a good insight what was going on with music in general in the 80s in NYC

Beasties book was awesome! Beasties band was awesome! Would love to see those guys!

the show you didn't know you wanted….

Elvana: Elvis Fronted Nirvana
at Pearl Street Warehouse May 7th

From the bowels of Disgraceland, Rock & Roll icons of the afterlife are raised from the dead! Rock & Roll meets Grunge as Elvis fronts Nirvana and gives the band the front man it’s been missing since ’94. Elvana tear through Nirvana’s catalogue whilst splicing in grunged up sections of the king of rock & rolls finest moments, culminating in a mega mash up of overdrive & old school Rockabilly. It smells like cheeseburgers and teen spirit, daddy-o!  Video: bit.ly/2UfsOFV

My birthday. Might have to take the whole family. (Both nights of Almost Queen at the State Theater sold out.)
I'd rather just stay home and listen to jon spencer blues explosion records
I feel this type of show gets boring quick

Kind of like Richard Cheese

I'll probably just stay home, have some German chocolate cake with a bourbon aged stout, and get a blow job.

Didn't Pizza Underground literally already do this? They totally had a guy doing Nirvana covers with slightly changed lyrics. Derivative.

Nice - I had forgotten about these guys until I read “Meet Me in the Bathroom”

I remember seeing them open for the Strokes a couple time in the halcyon days of the early aughts

Sounds like a natural Julian fest…could even stay over night at the super hip Lee High Inn and eat fast food three meals a day

They've played RNRH a couple times in the last few years. Shocked they're still going.
