I thought Bad Bunny was a she/her/they/them rock band… I guess not, but they're playing at Nats Stadium.

man going from the Rock n Roll hotel to Nat's Stadium would have been quite meteoric rise

I actually don't follow the band, so this question maybe indicates that i spend too much time on this board…but wasn't their first area show at Songbyrd?

edit, that show never happened…I did have a tix, but covid
had a sold out 930 club
so would have been 930->Nats….still pretty big, has that ever been done?
I assume Adell did something like that, sure there are a few others

Not really… at least in modern times.
Would be something like small club > 930 > DAR/MCI (if you really blew up).
Now throw in The Anthem in that evolution.
Highly unlikely anyone went direct from Club >>> Outdoor Stadium, would more likely be Club >>> MCI.
IIRC, U2 went 930–> Cap Center on their first US tour. After the club dates, they circled back around to the arenas.
And Gaga went so big so fast, she cancelled her 930 and went straight to MCI.

Gaga played DAR in fall of 2009 because my awful sister in law came to town for it and nearly caused me to not to want to marry my wife.
also, indoor arena =/= outdoor stadium.

Whoa yeah, I got that all wrong. It was based on an apocryphal story from an unreliable source…
Also College Park in 1983 :o
The internet has changed the game….acts can now blow up in a week…
