Just Announced

Dying to see Future Islands' show at Ottobar on April 8th (TOMORROW!) to celebrate the release of their new album? Well, we've got a surprise of our own! Thanks to our fine friends over at 4AD, The Sound Garden has 100 tickets to give away to the first 100 customers who purchase "The Far Field" on CD/LP  at our Baltimore location!

This promotion is available in-store only. Tickets ware on sale now, so be sure to get yourself down here before they sell out!

lol looks their ride is coming to an end
:'(
:o
I'm coyly suggesting that the handing out of free tickets may indicate that their wave of popularity demonstrates signs it is waning. This is in part a reflection on the poor reception their latest recording has garnered along with a suspicion that a band as old and ugly as Future Islands will be challenged to maintain their ascent.
::)
That looks more like ET and than the Ghostbuster ghost.

Looks like Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman have decided to use the "YES" moniker

expect lawsuits and two different YES bands touring…. I really think the Anderson/Rabin/Wakeman is the way better offering… considering Squire died and all that is left on that side is an ailing White and Steve Howe but YMMV

for sure the most dysfunctional band in the history of rock music…

Apparently "popular demand" doesn't extend to the DC market.
