NYC shows are $55 + fees, sept 10 and 11. DC date is Saturday 9/13 at the 930, according to Pollstar. Philly = Sun 9/14.

i think paul weller 5 years ago at the 930 was $40, so i expect it will be in the $50 range for dc if nyc is $55.

is it on soft sale yet ath the 930? i haven't gotten the last two email blasts.

nope. the show hasn't been officially announced, so no soft/hard onsale dates yet. i'm sure someone will post it here once it is.

also: the dollar is really weak in the uk, so I imagine that has to play some kind of factor in pricing tickets for UK artists…

question: is James the opening band for Squeeze? I know that's the case for the Radio City Music Hall show up in NYC?

Except that these UK artists are used to the UK economy. The pound buys in the UK what a dollar buys in the US. If they are thinking about their incomes in terms of pounds, then for a US tour is half price for everything! Venue use, food, accommodation, everything is half price if thought of in terms of sterling.

cirque club membership is free, and some excellent tickets are available right now. spendy, but definitely worth it. the 200 section tickets (center) are a good value, relatively speaking. i saw this show in philly. highly, highly recommended. and to keep this on topic: like all cirque shows, there is a live band and singers that provide the soundtrack for the stage show.

i got excellent seats to this in nov. i think i'm in the section where they fly over you. my first cirque du soleil! where is this again in dc? i think i saw it was near the water somewhere?
