I have never even been to DAR. but i dont like seated venues and since YOU started the venue discussion..or at least someone did before me, i thought i would chime in. but whatever. jerk.

well my rant wasn't aimed spefically at you, just all the constitution hall moaners in general… i'll buy you a beer too to prove i'm not a webthug …

Is it really? I had floor seats for the last show I went to. Everyone was sitting down, and when a couple tried to stand up someone (not staff) asked them to sit down. It wasn't until the last song that everyone stood up. Sitting at concerts = lame.

oh, ok, sorry. well my "complaint" wasnt really aimed at DAR, but at seated venues. just not my thing.

i cant afford to go to all the shows i want anyway so its better off that this show is seated and the Nada Surf show sold out (although, i do want to cry about that….i should've known, but Baltimore shows so rarely sell out!)

So we won't be meeting you at the Nada Surf show?

Any idea why a show with two bands that can each fill the Black Cat would book at a place that small? Wouldn't Sonar or Ottobar have paid them more?

it is strange that they are playing that tiny spot. but Idlewild played there a few months back and it wasnt sold out. I dunno, the only Baltimore shows that have sold out recently are Interpol, the Pixies and ……….well, i dunno. just them. I guess if there was a DC dates to this tour , it wouldnt have sold out.

oh well. should be a goodie.

the 8x10 strikes me as the type of joint, that if ya slip the door guy a nice tip you'll get into the show…
