Has anyone heard anything about this summer's Reno Park schedule?

So far Deleted Scenes will play on June 18th…don't know who with…the rest is unreleased thus far, but is supposed to be posted some time this month

So, I just noticed that Schoolyard Heroes are opening for The Horrors at the Rock and Roll Hotel show on June 8. I would so be there if it weren't for the fact that I'll be seeing Tool that night in Baltimore.

I've heard good things about The Horrors, but still haven't checked them out at all. When they left the tour with BRMC (to which I briefly considered going), I never thought they'd go find a kickass opener that would make me want to see them. Perhaps I'll drive over to Philly the next night…

as did i - but i live in nyc and they're here and ive always wanted to see them. regardless, the rakes will put on a good show. whether or not it will be worth $35 is a different story tho.

The 2007 Village Voice Siren Festival will take place on Saturday, July 21st, in Coney Island.

The free festival will feature the New York Dolls, Matt & Kim, We Are Scientists, Black Lips, Dr Dog, Lavender Diamond, Detroit Cobras, Elvis Perkins, and
The Twilight Sad.

More acts will be announced shortly.

Hold out for a Rakes headlining show late summer/early fall. HM weren't train wreck, more like at total derailment, if you always wanted to see them, then you DEFINITELY don't want to see them in this state it will ruin whatever fond memories you had and likely have you burn the entire catalog.

Thanks for the great words. too bad i already bought a ticket. maybe ill sell it. very frustrating as i really have wanted to see them, but if its this bad. i dunno.
