Just Announced

That is so frustrating. I haven't seen Mark Kozelek in almost a decade and I would love to check this show out, but it's just too tough to get up to Baltimore in the middle of the week. Even if it were a Thursday I could probably swing it. Jeez. I'm sure it would be a great show, that limited edition double live CD he put out 2 years ago is phenomenal.
his last show in annapolis was pretty great. the venue was a sit down place with tables and he insists on complete silence. it will be interesting to see him at the ottobar seeing as the atmosphere will be so less intimate (bar in back, pool table, video games)..

come on, you know that DBT shows are
pretty much the exact opposite of red house painters / magnetic fields shows – they're all sweaty, drunken, sold-out messes … there will be a lot of "me's" there
Mindless conformist. :p

Believe it or not, Drive By Truckers are one of the bands whose shows are so good that you actually don't have to be shitfaced to enjoy it.

i've found that eight or nine budweisers helps my air guitar playing immensely, pretty crucial for the three-axe-attack
Well, since Isbell is gone, Its more like two guitars and a pedal steel attack…
Can't you at least drink GOOD beer? Christ, you're going to be a lawyer, not a plumber. I bet Patterson Hood don't even drink that crap.

My source is the venue's website. I'd assume it's an early leaking date from a soon-to-be-announced tour.

Oh, also, Tuesday 6/10 in Norfolk.

I'd imagine DC would fall somewhere between the two shows.
