I'd hit it.

Baltimore 10/8
DC Venue TBD 10/9
Yesterday I had my first social activity in about a year..a college friend I hadn’t seen in nine years dropped by and we hung out outside in the backyard catching up

I was paranoid at first even though he has been fully vaccinated for months but eventually I took off my mask

He has three daughters…between 12-17

He told us he has separated as of five months ago from his wife and gotten his own apartment.. he plans to move in with his new girlfriend

I was pretty shocked as this guy is or was a hardcore catholic

If I was just separated last thing I would do is move in with someone.. I didn’t ask many questions..he was together with his wife 27 years..never seemed really happy in his marriage

Times are changing

Not sure I will be ready for cracker

Seems kinda random. I’d see em in a local brewery.
I think they are stringing together a short tour of outdoor places that are options to play

David Lowery seems to think the media is currently overhyping covid dangers in the US

He may be right
Edit: that’s his opinion.

567,000 Americans and their families say otherwise. But that’s a discussion for another thread.

Outdoor venues is a great idea.

Sounds like hell to me.

Okay, brahs, here's the idea: miniature golf except everybody's drunk. Then we sell them overpriced fast food.
Isn’t that what all activities are?

We have pages and pages of comments about people visiting “breweries” where all you do is drink beer

Bars, sports, breweries, concerts…..it’s all about selling alcohol and crappy food

Having said that I agree this doesn’t entice me…
Miniature golf is traditionally a family activity.

Have they added booze to PB&Js yet?
And breweries are traditionally a place where parents don’t take their kids…

Actually, it's quite normal for kids to be seen with their parents in pubs in Europe. This is less common in America because America has a weird relationship with alcohol
.
Only in the past 20 years or so, with the rise of craft beer, have brewery taprooms even existed. In that time, I've visited 240+ taprooms, seen kids in a vast majority of them, and can count on two fingers the number of taprooms where kids were barred (de Garde in Oregon said it was some kind of ordinance…I didn't have a kid with me anyway… Flying Dog doesn't give a reason, but they such anyway.)

Before that, people didn't take their kids to breweries because typically people didn't GO TO breweries.
I stand corrected
